PNOC RC would like to inform our colleagues in the Energy Compound that we have two (2) new confirmed COVID-19 case.

1) RC-06 started to experience mild symptoms on 25 August 2021. The said employee underwent antigen testing on 26 August 2021 and the result turned out positive. RC-06 was admitted to a quarantine facility of the local government unit concerned from 28 August 2021 until 04 September 2021. Upon release, RC-06 was advised to continue home quarantine for four (4) days. RC-06 is now tagged as a recovered confirmed case.
2) RC-07 begun to experience mild symptoms on 04 September 2021. The said employee then reported that a family member tested positive for COVID-19 on 06 September 2021. RC-07 underwent RT-PCR testing on 07 September 2021 and the result came back positive today, 08 September 2021. RC-07 is currently under home quarantine with mild symptoms.
RC-07 last reported for work on 01 September 2021. Close contacts have been identified and advised to monitor themselves and report their condition to the Safety Committee should COVID-19 symptoms arise.
PNOC RC remains committed in safeguarding the health and safety of the workforce and our stakeholders. We uphold the strict implementation of the Minimum Public Health Standards for the prevention and control of COVID-19 in the workplace.

Consistent with the Memorandum Circular signed by the Executive Secretary and issued on 16 March 2020 which provides for the Enhanced Community Quarantine over Luzon and further guidelines for the management of the Corona Virus Disease 2019, PNOC Renewables Corporation shall implement a WORK FROM HOME scheme to safeguard the health and well-being of our employees.

This work arrangement shall take effect from 17 MARCH 2020 to 13 APRIL 2020 and shall remain in full force and effect until such time that the Enhanced Community Quarantine over Luzon has been lifted.

We advise our partners and stakeholders to coordinate with us using online and digital collaboration platforms.
