  • PNOC RC and Baguio City Sign MOU to Undertake WTE Study

    On 30 August 2019, PNOC Renewables Corp (PNOC RC) and the City Government of Baguio formalized their joint commitment to find solutions to Baguio City’s garbage problem. The organizations executed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) at the PNOC RC office for the undertaking of a detailed feasibility study of a Waste-to-Energy (WTE) facility in Baguio City.

  • PNOC RC hosts Renewable Energy Roundtable discussion

    Taguig City - As part of the Department of Energy’s celebration of the National Energy Consciousness Month (NECM), PNOC Renewables Corporation hosted a Roundtable Discussion with the theme “Creating the Future of Energy Security and Sustainability” last 04 December 2019 at PNOC Exploration Corporation’s Pag-Asa Hall. The roundtable discussion covered topics on energy efficiency, updates on renewable energy technologies such as hydropower, geothermal and waste-to-energy, status of climate change and project management strategies for RE developers.

  • PNOC RC Recognized as One of the 2018 Top 10 GOCCs in Time for Its 11th Year Anniversary

    PNOC Renewables Corporation (PNOC RC) is included among the Top 10 Government-Owned and Controlled Corporations (GOCCs) for 2018. In the Exit Conference on the Corporate Governance Scorecard Results organized by the Governance Commission for Government-Owned and Controlled Corporations (GCG), the results of the GCG appraisal of GOCC performance in relation to the internationally-accepted Corporate Governance Scorecard was presented. The said event was held on 7 March 2019 at the GCG Training Room in Makati City and was attended by the representatives of the various GOCCs.

  • MoU Signed Between PNOC RC, Baguio City LGU to Develop WTE Project

    On Wednesday, 9th January 2019, a Memorandum of Understanding was signed between the PNOC Renewables Corporation and the City Local Government Unit of Baguio at Baguio City Hall. This signifies the interest of both agencies to support waste-to-energy development and sustainable solid waste management of the city.

    The site inspection with the prospective bidders for the Mariano Marcos State University (MMSU) Solar Rooftop Project in Ilocos Norte will be postponed to September 25, 2018 to give priority to the disaster recovery efforts brought about by the typhoon Ompong.
