Once completed, the hydropower plant will utilize the potential of ARIS to generate clean energy. Specifically, the project will have the capability to supply power equivalent to the energy demands of 2000 households, while avoiding approximately eleven tons of carbon dioxide emissions (11tCO2e) annually. Furthermore, the project will provide local employment opportunities and skills and livelihood training for the community as part of PNOC RC’s Corporate Social Responsibility.
