In a list presented by the Governance Commission for GOCCs (GCG) in its Makati Office last 4 September 2017, PNOC Renewables Corporation (PNOC RC) was recognized as one of the Top 10 GOCCs with the highest rating on Corporate Governance Performance for 2016. The said scorecard comprised GCG’s required submission of various government regulatory requirements in time, and satisfactorily meeting the respective GOCC’s set annual targets. For 2016, PNOC RC was able to garner a cumulative score of 88.92% out of a maximum possible score of 100%. It was the sole GOCC from the energy sector who achieved such feat.

PNOC RC President and CEO John J. Arenas is greatly appreciative of the company’s inclusion to the elite group of GOCCs for the previous year, and hopes to improve on its performance for the current year towards the fulfillment of its mandate as the government arm in promoting renewable energy resources and energy-efficient technologies for the benefit of the Filipino people.
