Taguig City – PNOC Renewables Corporation inaugurates its second solar rooftop installation with the Bangko Sentral ng Pilipinas. The 400kWp solar facility at the BSP Security Plant Complex (BSP SPC) in Quezon City is the largest among all the installation of PNOC RC on government buildings. This brings the total capacity of PNOC RC for its solar rooftop projects in government agencies at 1.42MW.

 The event was attended by Governor Armando M. Tetangco Jr., members of the BSP’s Monetary Board and other executives of BSP. PNOC RC was represented by its Vice President for Operations, Engr. Pete L. Lite and OIC-Vice President for Corporate Services, Atty. Josephine Cassandra Cui.

BSP and PNOC RC intend to implement the solar rooftop program to all BSP branches and offices nationwide. This would not only bring significant savings in electricity cost and at the same time reduce carbon emissions. BSP and PNOC RC remains committed to a cleaner and sustainable energy for the Philippines.
