Taguig City – The PNOC Renewables Corporation lead off its Anniversary Month with the Inauguration of the 200kW Solar Rooftop Project at the Commission on Audit. The Solar Rooftop PV System is installed at the COA dormitory and the Professional and Institutional Development Sector (PIDS) building. The Memorandum of Agreement between Commission on Audit and PNOC Renewables Corporation was signed last May 2016 while the construction started in September 2016.  The project completed in February 2016. This inauguration marked the kick off of the month-long 9th year anniversary celebration of PNOC Renewables Corporation.

Present during the event was the COA Chairperson Michael Aguinaldo along with Commissioner Isabel B. Dasalla-Agito and other top executives of the organization.  The newly appointed PNOC Renewables Corporation President, Mr. John J. Arenas together with one of the Board of Directors, Ms. Maria Carmina E. Cruz as well as VP for Operations, Engr. Pete L. Lite and OIC-VP for Corporate Services, Atty. Josephine Cassandra Cui were among the top executives present for PNOC Renewables Corporation.

In the Inauguration message of President/CEO John J. Arenas, he expressed: “We are elated that our fellow government agencies, such as COA, are engaged in the development and implementation of renewable and efficient energy programs. It is evident that your initiatives are aligned with the PNOC RC’s vision and the government’s thrust in promoting renewable energy. We are grateful and we are proud to be working with another government agency that shares the same values and vision and we look forward to working with you as a long-term partner. In return, PNOC Renewables Corporation endeavors to continuously work hard to promote RE advocacy and develop more RE projects. As we always say, with PNOC RC, we make it happen!”
