Project Description: |

|
The Pasil C Hydropower Project is a run of the-river type hydropower
development along Pasil River. It will be located in the
Municipality of Lubuagan, Kalinga.
The Project has a potential capacity of 22 MW and is estimated to
generate about 82.5 GWh of electricity per year.
The proposed project will be connected to the Luzon grid. Power
generated will be sold to the local electric cooperatives and
industries. This shall benefit households, institutions, commercial
and industrial consumers of CAR and other provinces in the island of
Luzon. |

Project Status as of June 2011: |

|
The conduct of the Feasibility Study for the project is bundled with
two other projects, namely Pacil B and Saltan B. PNOC RC is
currently revising the TOR for the conduct of feasibility study
because the last bidding for the same failed since the lone bidder
was not able to comply with the manpower resources requirement of
the three projects. |
